Avipattikar tablets are an Ayurvedic medicine, most commonly used to treat digestive issues, especially those related to high acidity. The tablets are made from a concentrated version of Avipattikar churna, a traditional herbal powder mix.

Key ingredients
The tablet form contains the same ingredients as the churna, including: 
  • Trikatu: A combination of ginger, black pepper, and long pepper to enhance digestion.
  • Triphala: Made from Amla, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki, which aids in digestion and detoxification.
  • Lavanga (Clove): A soothing spice that helps with gastric discomfort.
  • Trivrit (Indian Jalap): A potent purgative herb.
  • Musta (Nut grass): Aids in digestive balance.
  • Ela (Cardamom): Reduces gas and stomach discomfort.
  • Sharkara (Sugar): Added to the churna to balance the other ingredients. 
Dosage and precautions
Dosage: The typical dosage for tablets is 1-2 tablets twice a day, or as directed by a physician. For the powder (churna) form, it's typically 3-4 grams twice daily with lukewarm water, and can be taken before or after meals.
